EDGES OF THE WORLD....

Ernesto Neto, Edges Of The World exhibited at the Hayward Gallery at the start of September. It's based around sensory installation's, made from net like nylon fabric, which he has manipulated forming large dome like shapes. Neto appears to be playing with the idea of being in a confined shape, and forming layers of net to create an ultimate viewing platform.

Once inside the installations, I felt the experience felt extremely sensual. He attempts to alter the visitors' perception of space. The immersive atmosphere of the installation has a massive impact on how you feel, similarly a designer can recreate this feeling when designing clothing with extreme dimensions.
